during the final drive of the game?

After the throw to our +-20 yard line. As Thomas was jogging back to the huddle, the Ram TE (I believe) jogged by and somewhat discreetly stuck out his elbow (chicken wing style) and hit Earl in the face mask. Obviously not seen by the ref, but good job on Thomas for not being the "second guy." I hope the league sends this guy a little envelope. Totally cheap shot.

I saw it but I couldn't tell if he did it purposely or not. Earl didn't even react to it so I assumed they just bumped accidentally.

100% purposely. He walked past ET and gave him a no-look elbow to the jaw. It was a dirt bag move. I hope the NFL saw it

Saw that as well, if seen probably would of been flagged. The refs missed it, oh well. I think Wagner got away with a helmet to helmet on that final stand so its even.

You can hit helmet to helmet so long as it's not a defenseless receiver. They got plenty of those calls last night.

The NFL is turning into a joke because of these penalties - seriously - sad state of affairs.

Many accept Tates taunt and yet are upset with this, it's the same mentality, taunting and intimidation. you can't say it's ok because Tate does something but upset when something happens to Thomas, both are wrong, and both the same type of mindset. You want to talk crap all game fine, make a play to back it up, or shut up. Getting beat on a play is enough of a point made to most athletes. Secondary cheap shots and taunts are aspects that the game should not embellish. Celebrating as a team or a play is not taunting by the way.

The Rams have been known as a team full of cheap shot players.

They did it against RG3 in the game last year. They did it against us last year.

Ask the Panthers about it, they were so livid they started throwing punches.

Go look at the goalline plays with Wilson, after he was tackled some guy "fell" on him. There was a concerted effort to land a few blows after almost every whistle. Not just the dirty shots at our QB, it was all game long and it is a trend with them. It has to be something they teach and encourage because it is a lot of players.

It is clearly part of their process, so I hope our guys remember that in the next game.

Hell to the yeah man, Tate could have poked an eye out er sumthing while sticking his fingers out there like that
Get it right gotdamnit, tates little flag drawing escapade was NOT because he could have physically hurt another player, it was because it was mild taunting, that has been blown way the hell out of proportion.
The Rams were head hunting and doing cheap shots last night, and there were some injuries, for which the NLF referees were giving their blessings to them while, throwing ticky-tacky flags at the Seahawks.
The fact that ET slammed Clemmons hard, for trying to run on him and no flags were thrown for hitting a defenseless player, or performing unsafe sex or whatever the hell they were dreaming up last night...Hell, maybe the refs weren't paying attention eh?
I'm sure glad that Tate didn't grab his junk like Lynch did when he made his TD last Season eh? the Refs would have undoubtedly ejected him from the game........what a bunch of pussies.

It's a mindset that an old defensive coach wants to instill in his team. Fisher did hire his old buddy Williams as the DC before he got suspended for Bountygate. I heard other fans complain about the Seahawks trying to be bullies so to me this is just a team letting the other know it is going to be a long day. Earl talked about how drained he was after the MNF game. This after coming off a 10-day break.

This division has changed since the early 2000's, all 4 teams have defenses that can play well in many cases. Keep your eyes open and be like Browner on the Cardinals punt coverage play, go to the whistle and beyond. Refs will have to deal with the post play fouls if they catch them. I saw guys jumping on the pile after the play from both sides. Thought Unger was going to get one on one of the few plays the Seahawks made a positive play.
