Why? Coaches leave and bring guys with them. This is nothing new. Bring on the new guys. Coach Mike knows what he's doing, what he wants.
Is it not ok that I choose to not think or talk about Dennison any longer now that he is not a coach?

Are there proper ways to best honor the departure of a coaching staff member by continuing to remember and honor them after they leave?

Just not a fan of a coach on a team that just won a Super Bowl and tries to take away multiple coaches to their new team. Maybe I’m too loyal, but it’s just something I wouldn’t do, especially if I’m leaving an organization with no ill will.

I don’t know about anybody else here, but it really rubs me the wrong way that Kubiak is trying to go after so many coaches from the Seahawks.
I don't like it, but he has no choice. The odds are already stacked against him with the quality of the organizations and coaching staffs in his division. His only chance is to get people around him who he trusts. On the other hand, it surprises me a little that these guys will follow him when they have a good thing in Seattle. I guess, like Kubiak, they're getting a promotion and more money, and they already have a Super Bowl ring.

That’s why I always slept with the girl before they did.

I wanted to dictate the future interactions.

Like, I’d ask my friend/buddy…”How my dic tate”?

I crack myself up.

Seriously though…that move was expected. Absolute faith in MM and JS to get us the best talent available.
It might have been prudent to wonder why the girl was agreeable to sleep with someone else after you.

This particular situation with Dennison isn't like a long term coach being poached. He has been a close friend of the Kubiak family for decades. He has been with Klint at several past assignments. It's safe to say he wouldn't have ever been on staff if not for Kubiak and likely that he wouldn't be coaching at all if not for that connection. I'm sure his contributions to the Hawks will be missed, but this was predestined.
