I figure it is like when your best friend likes the same girl as you in high school. Can you really get mad at your friend for having the same taste in ladies?

At the end of the day it’s your job to have more to offer to get her or keep her. If you can’t then touché.
That’s why I always slept with the girl before they did.

I wanted to dictate the future interactions.

Like, I’d ask my friend/buddy…”How my dic tate”?

I crack myself up.

Seriously though…that move was expected. Absolute faith in MM and JS to get us the best talent available.

It's not really a shock. Hes went everywhere with him and was part of his dad's staff. From what I hear he's not a day to day coach, more a figurehead/chief of staff for him so it may not be the end of the world.

Here’s what I know. WE WON THE EFFING SUPER BOWL! So thanks guys. I hate the Raiders so I don’t wish your team well but come visit anytime.

The best head coaches learn to win with yearly changes of coaches. I think MacDonald has it in him.

He has Frazier there to help navigate this, between his Harbaugh connections and Frazier's we should be fine.

Well - a couple of thoughts -

One - is; anyone who thinks that the Raiders are their/the future - well - that's a *choice* :ROFLMAO: More like where hope goes to die, oh, and get recycled Hawks retreads. Ask GeNo how that turned out :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Second of all; **** Kubiak. I didn't like him. I've said as much many times. Didn't like the way he called the first 1/2 of the season. Didn't like the way he called the SB. So, yea, **** him and whoever goes with him.

A lot of these guys were "poached" from New Orleans when Kubiak came over here. Benton, Janocko, Dennison, etc. The way it always is. Pretty cool the Hawks were able to hold onto Benton.

While there were a couple of questionable play calls, including one that contributed heavily to the Bucs loss, what was wrong with the first half of the season? He had Darnold in the MVP convo, and JSN on track for the best season ever for a wide receiver.

He did a pretty good job with halftime adjustments (got better with this as the season progressed).

Outside of the first game, and a couple really bad situational calls, I thought he did a pretty good job for the entire season.

Same. But, I feel like MM checked him and had him ‘conform’ to MMs vision as to how the offense was going to run.

Kubiak was doing some crazy stuff early on.

Nonetheless, we won the bowl with him. I’m thankful for that.

Raiders are garbage tho. Could care less as to how they do.

Position coaches are always looking to move up, sometimes the best move up is to leave, especially after a big winning season bc you're in demand. When you look at these guys' resumes they often have been with half a dozen teams or more. Par for the course.

I don't care about poaching but they were not poached from New Orleans they had already been let go.
Fleury was though!😄

I don't remember any assistants being let go before they got their new head coach. I do remember their GM saying he wouldn't hold them back because whoever they got as head coach might not retain them. I could be wrong. Also, I thought we hired Kubiak before they found a new head coach.

If you're right then disregard my point. It would be apples and oranges.

Why? Coaches leave and bring guys with them. This is nothing new. Bring on the new guys. Coach Mike knows what he's doing, what he wants.
