Many of the players people wanted to cut/trade had decent games.

Kupp had several catches and some great RAC. About what I expect of him all year. He's not a 10 catch 100+ yard guy any more, but he can make clutch catches and move the sticks like a veteran. That's all I expect of him.

K9 had a great game. Nice to see him break out a bit. Like everyone, I hope he can stay healthy.

Darnold with a couple of INTs, but did what I expected overall, which is to manage the game and not make too many mistakes. Having a functional running game and some ST support helps a bunch as well.

Sundell limped of the field. I was hoping it was just cramps.

Mike had this team ready. Defense was very good. Cooper Kupp showed up. The tight ends were involved. K9 was a beast in the second half. They are still learning. Nice play calling for the most part. O line was solid against a good D.

We should just get better as they grow together.

True of most seasons. 1st quarter is where you start to find out what they're really good at. Thing is, to bring up a Peterism, while you can't win the season in the first quarter, you can damn well lose it with a slow start. It's good to be 1-1, much better than 0-2.

I’ll tell you exactly what this team is. They are essentially a young team comprised of a bunch of draft picks from the last three drafts along with some pretty good vets sprinkled in, all with a head coach coming off of 10 wins in his rookie campaign who just coached his 19th game as a head coach. There are bound to be some growing pains. All in all they will be much better at the end of the season while hammering out some tough wins in the first half of the season.

He did manage the game well enough but I think we're underselling the impact Darnold had late in the game considerably.

Those two INTs...the first one was just bad. He was very LATE in throwing that one to Kupp. That's on him (Darnold).

The 2nd one he just had no shot and was simply trying to throw the ball away...and it was just deflected up in the air. Murphy's Law (anything that can go wrong, did go wrong) and all that.

Seeing a team in the past do the concussed first half (or first half concussed) takes its toll. I have trust issues.
