Excellent FB and one of the best football names ever.
Monster on the field and a gentleman off. I've probably gained the best insider info on that generation listening to Mack talk. May not be a ROH inductee, but deserves top respect all the same.

Hugh McKinnis was the first Seahawk to wear #37. He played in the CFL from 1970 to 1972. He was a 1972 8th round pick by Cleveland. He remained with Cleveland through 1975. He was with the Seahawks in 1976.

Anyone planning on flying down to LA to see Seahawks/Rams on November 16th?

First Seahawk to wear #35 was the great David Sims. The Seahawks have been blessed with some really good running backs. Sims was the first of the great backs to wear the Seahawks blue. He was a 1977 7th round draft pick of the Seahawks. He played for the Seahawks from 1977-1979. He led the NFL in touchdowns in 1978 with 15, but suffered a career-ending injury early the next season.

The first Seahawk to wear #33 was Andy Bolton a 1976 4th round pick of the Seahawks. He was only with the Seahawks for five games of the inaugural first season. He finished out the 1976 season and his career until 1979 with Detroit. There are no game worn images that I could find of him. So see above for the first real image of a player who used that number and jersey into Seahawks lore in Dan Doornink.

The first Seahawk to wear #32 was LB Mike Curtis. Curtis was originally a 1965 1st round pick of the Baltimore Colts. He was selected by the Seahawks on March 30, 1976. He started all 14 regular-season games during the Seahawks' inaugural campaign and was the team's first defensive captain. The Seahawks returned him to right outside linebacker for the season and Curtis responded like a professional, finishing the year second on the team in tackles, with 107.
