Before he got hurt he still looked awesome last year. He will be an awesome #2 who is super versatile for Darnold. MVS can be a vertical threat and I feel much better about this group and the offense as a whole. Still wouldn’t shock me if they use a premium pick on a WR too if the right guy falls but they don’t have to force it now.

They are set up to really attack the lines if they want.

I’m love this off season so far
He’s such a smart receiver and he’s a presence that will draw attention just like metcalf did. I’ll miss metcalf cause of the spectacle he is with his size and speed and attitude but I’m a fan of kupp and I like MSV too. Kupp brings the kind of humble warrior attitude I love too. Now bobo can stay in his roll of secret weapon

I am enjoying all the moves. I'll temper my expectations, aging/injury history players and such, but its a damn exciting off season so far.
These guys, though past their primes, aren't so far gone that they don't need to be game planned for. And in their particular positions, experience matters ALOT. Maybe half a step slower, but they know how to beat the guy on the other side.
Yeah, its been uncommonly fun so far, and we're not even at the draft yet!!

Meanwhile the OL is basically in a state where they need an anchor on the inside to guide and teach the young players to play. Hawks have a lot of young players with C and B level potential but you need an (A)lpha level player to be the anchor and to help guide them. Hard to find in the draft especially since drafting one in the first round has opportunity costs.
A force multiplier

Well, I felt the same about Lawrence: Old guy off an injury, at a high top end contract number. These have rarely worked out in the past. I understand there is no reason to go into the Draft with $30+ mil of Cap Space still sitting there, but I reflexively gag at players on the wrong side of 30, and with an injury history to boot, get these sweeping deals. Always happy to be proven wrong.....
I’d rather see what Lawrence can do than keep watching Dre jones

Too bad we didn't have JSN, DK and Kupp..oh mannnnn
I love the thought of what DK could have become here in Seattle under different circumstances. That being said, he wanted top WR money (which he got) for a guy who regularly had games with only a couple catches and a handful of targets. He sucks at contesting balls and catches them with his body more frequently than his hands. I mean, he has the physical traits but not the kinda guy you could regularly throw to in double coverage and feel confident he’d come down with the ball. He did it sometimes, but he doesn’t basically win you games like JJ and Jamar Chase do regularly for their teams. Great players, not worth ponying up for.

Is kupp better than DK? What’s the most yards DK has ever had? I think DK is a beast and an awesome receiver, but the whole time he was here I was hoping and anticipating that he would start taking over games and ripping across the middle high pointing passes like Larry Fitzgerald. Kupp plays like that
