2 ACL repairs, I believe. Should be good to groom Olu that much more.
From the reports i've saw from camp it feels like Olu is basically backup quality. Okay filling in but maybe doesn't have the anchor to be a starter. Not a good sign for the team's optimism about Oluwatimi.
Olu was a 5th or was it a 6th round pick. We didn't invest a lot if draft capital in him. When he couldn't win the starting role last season, it was a red flag, now, again, we signed a starting center. From the reports i've saw from camp it feels like Olu is basically backup quality. We signed that fag before drafting Olu.. The one who kept getting pushedOlu was a 5th or was it a 6th round pick. We didn't invest a lot if draft capital in him. When he couldn't win the starting role last season, it was a red flag, now, again, we signed a starting center.
Olu may not have it.
And Williams is only 27. If he lives up to expectations, they'll have first rights on getting him on a long-term deal. He'll get his chances. This should allow us to break him in a little more. Connor can play multiple positions too, so Olu should see plenty of action if he earns it. If he doesn't shine on the field, I suspect we'd make more of an effort to get Connor in here long term.
You may know Olu to be better than that guy, but Pete, his OC, and OL coach had a different evaluation. Pete was a desperate man last year in a win or get fired situation, and yet, he insisted on starting an inferior guy that Schneider pickup on an one-year contract worth $2.35 million with $1.1 million guaranteed and includes a $650,000 signing bonus. We signed that fag before drafting Olu.. back.
I know Olu is better than that guy, it was just because he was getting paid big
was the only reason he started over Olu.
I'm not so high on signing a guy with worse knees than Lucas ..Meh
