That was awesome seeing Barton have a great game last night. He seems like good guy and it's inspiring when someone is able to push through failure and boast a worthy redemption story.

That being said, Barton was very, very bad here. He earned his departure from the Seahawks. It wasn't just a Seahawks thing either, as any Commanders fan will tell you that he wasn't any better last season.

I havn't been following the Broncos all that closely, so I don't know if last night was consistent with how he has been playing this season or if he was just out of his mind last night, but at the very least, I'm happy he has something to build on.

According to PFF it looks like he played out of his mind last night and in week 3 @ TB, the rest of the games about the same as the past:

He still doesn't grade out very well, but he's a starting linebacker on a very good defense and Sean Payton seems to have confidence in him. Maybe he's playing in a defense that's a better schematic fit for his skill set.

The Broncos got him in free agency for roughly the same amount that we're paying Tyrel Dodson. I'd rather have Dodson.

Did you see him get steamrolled by guards like 10 times because he still can't get off of blocks?
