I'll be the first to admit that he's proving me wrong. I was all about trying to improve the position to the point that he wasn't on the roster anymore. He played some for Bane last year and wasn't anchoring against the run and also wasn't getting any pressure when on nickel 3rd downs. Just really wasn't contributing.

He's come back to the team like a man possessed as Pete said. It will only work out for him in the end whether it's with the Hawks or other. More power to him, but if he can continue to play like this obviously I'd like him to re-up with the Hawks for another year at least.

One of the good things about this organization is that they allow players to earn contracts/money. Like Browner for instance....they didn't have to give him more money this year. He earned it well over is contract and they gave it to him. Kind of amazing in this day and age of a more shrewd business approach. Not to say that the Hawks don't go about business like it should be. They make more moves than anyone, but there appears to be some honor in it. I'm quite proud of that as an organization. It's atypical.

I also think that's precisely why some players have come here on 1 year contracts that were offered more elsewhere.

I cant figure out who is Mcdonald and who is Mcdanials... Its confused the crap out of me. Whoever makes a play, I just say that Mc guy is pretty awsome.

McDaniel is the super tall one. McDonald is more bowling ballish

Sorry couldn't refrain from the quote hearing those two names together.

Pretty unbelievable to think he didn't sign with another team between the time we cut him and re-signed him. Especially considering the amount of attention our castaways get now days.
