The team cut McDonald because the team did not want to pay 1.33 mil for a backup DT. Seahawks were kind of being cheap this year with the backend of the roster.

I'm glad someone brought his interview up because I was listening to it on the radio after the game and I was almost brought to tears in the middle of work.

Clinton McDonald is such a great guy and a solid football player.

He's on pace for 50 tackles, 12.5 sacks in 15 games. I'm hoping Seahawks can retain him as the 3T of the future, he's only 26 years old, too. Just hitting his stride and prime.
