He's absolutely right about the false perceived notions that being tall is a negative for playing the Corner position, and I believe that Pete has opened up a whole new concept to the Football world.
It's gotta be intimidating as hell for some of the Receivers that have to square off against anyone in the Seahawks Secondary.
I'm lovin this aggression, and matter of fact attitude of hard nose that is spreading from the Secondary and throughout the entire Defense :th2thumbs:

Revis became the premier shutdown corner in his 3rd year (2009). With all the reports of how much faster and better Sherm has looked in OTAs and minicamp so far, I think he's going to have a 2009 Revis type of year and shut all the haters up.

I love that he's NOT an introvert, sure seems like there's always some Seahawks fans that just don't get IT though.

I must admit, sometimes it does seem too much, but I've gotten so used to it, I just kind of expect it all the time. It's what makes him tick, it motivates him. Whatever works, it's all good. A lot of guys in sports need to create a chip and/or a reason to play harder or prove people wrong etc. He seems like he's just having a good time, at some point you'd think ppl, other than Hawks fans, would see that.
But, I highly doubt it. He backs it up by being one of the best players in football.

That would put this defense on a whole other level if he gets near what Revis does when he's at the top of his game. Even if we don't have Clemons and Irvin. Scary.
