San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey (calf) popped up on the injury report on Thursday. The 49ers open the season in Seattle on Sunday against the Seahawks.

This is irrelevant. He has played one game against Macdonald's Seahawk defense and had 79 yards and no TDs. He played against Baltimore once when Macdonald was the DC and had a solid game (14 rushes for 103 yards and a TD) in a 33-19 loss for the whiners.

It's a small sample size and I'm sure Macdonald has plenty of respect for that whole offense....but I don't think he is shaking in his sneakers.
