BS excuse for not giving him the ball like they should be. Pete’s looking for sympathy for tomorrow’s press conference. Needs a reason to why they didnt give him the ball more.

I have a sneaking suspicion we wouldn't be hearing this if we won

during the game, did anyone else wonder if maybe carson were banged up, or pete felt like carson couldn't be leaned upon? because, carson arrived out of the gate like gangbusters, like the seahawks could gash the giants at will with the run game...

I'm glad they're not over-working him this time around. We've run him like he was Marshawn since his rookie season, and he clearly is not Marshawn. It would be nice to see what this guy does in the playoffs healthy, or even just see him in the playoffs at all, at this point. With the "Seahawks style" being pounding runners for the last decade, it's never worked out well for us, when that pounding runner ends up being hurt right at playoff time. We end up with no style at all, when PO's come around.

Having said that, if he's hurt (again) right now, it's pretty much par for the course with CC. His body just can't take his running style. I definitely don't think we can sign him long-term, big money.

Why in the world would Pete look for sympathy, He doesn’t need or want the media’s approval. If he said Carson isn’t right I believe him. Or is this a conspiracy thing...is he altering the injury report, keeping Chris out because he wants Russ to shine.

I say let it rip and just give him the ball 35 times until he gets carted off the field. That way you know that shady Pete doesn’t lie to you.

Carson went out of bounds on one of his runs on his own. I never seen carson do that. I think he is still a little banged up not fully healed.

It's cool if you guys are upset about the loss, but let's not get irrational here. Come on now.

Yeah, I was wondering why he was playing so much I thought everyone knew he's not healthy...

He literally had an ESPN Seattle Interview (i'm not gonna look it up, if you really care do it yourself I already heard it... but I believe it was on the Wyman and Bob show during the week RIGHT BEFORE HE WOULD MISS SEVERAL GAMES... it's not rocket science, Carson literally told the world what's happening).

He said he can't even walk up his stairs when he gets home...

He says when he drives home he just sits in his car for like an hour before he walks into his home...

He's literally telling exactly how hurt he is... he needs a lot of rest obviously.

But the narrative of the post game press conference from what I heard was "Why didn't you play Carson more?".

How are these clowns paid to be a journalist and even a sorta casual yet very perceptive fan like myself already knows what's happening...

This is just bad journalism... obviously the Seahawks staff doesn't read this forum cause I literally had a post about this exact topic a couple days ago...

He was smart. Chris Carson needs to let up once in a while to preserve himself.

Bo Jackson had so much muscle that it ripped his ball right out of it's socket. Bones can only take so much before muscle take over and causes damage. Ever see those horrible weight lifting accidents?

Yeah I totally agree I'm worried Chris Carson runs a bit too hard for what his body can handle... I've thought he was really hurt many times (based on replays of him getting destroyed at the end of plays)... I think he just downplays the amount of pain he's really in. But I heard an ESPN Seattle radio interview recently (right before he missed a few games) he said he can barely walk up the stairs after a game, when he drives home he just sits in the car for a while he's so sore... I don't think he's joking.

That's why Marshawn Lynch was so special he played so hard but the way he's built he's just some kind of freak to put it nicely, he took so much punishment and yet was playing almost every game for nearly his whole career...

Conclusion:

We should be careful with Carson, he's one of the best RBs in the league but we shouldn't use him too much if we can win while letting him rest imo... I'd rather he's healthy in the playoffs then maybe even having a better seed... not sure about that but it's interesting.

Sometimes just 1 injury can knock you out of the playoffs. For example I think when Cliff Avril got injured (3rd quarter) in the Superbowl vs Patriots that may have cost us the game... we also lost Jeremy Lane (1st quarter...) but I think Cliff Avril being out was very bad for us.

I know it's a coin flip you can get hurt on any play... but if I was on this staff I'd probably try to limit Carson's reps as much as possible unless it's a season ending loss scenario.

Carson needs to get healthy... I don't know why our gameplan seemed to be centered on him and the middle of the field when clearly their defense was weak with short passes on the sidelines based on my first impression... we couldn't even throw any sideline passes in our 2 minute drill... we gave them a free win how bad that last drive was. I think that's the worst potentially game winning drive I've ever seen in the Russell Wilson era... what happened???

It almost seemed like an intentional loss the way our offense played no joke. Maybe they want a certain match up in the playoffs so they lost on purpose? It was a pathetic game plan on offense, not even close to good.
