Seems to me Smith-Njigba and Witherspoon could have made this team as well. It's hard to argue about Trent McDuffie and Derek Stingley being picked ahead of Witherspoon. You could make the case for JSN over Brian Thomas, though.

I had forgotten how young Charles Cross was when he was drafted. He came out of an air raid college offense. His run blocking took some time to come around. But, never the less, showed great improvement over the course of last year. He should prosper from what he has learned over the course of accumulating lots of snaps. He is bigger and stronger while having retained those sweet feet.

He has improved as technician. With more mobility to the right of him at left guard, we could see a long awaited tandem emerge on the left side of the line.

The best is yet to come.

Cross is ok, nothing more. If Zabel’s less than very good our OL worries will continue. Optimistic about Zabel.
