Announcers are putting over the Chargers, and I guess rightfully so, however exhaustive research regarding east coast time zone teams traveling for night games to the west coast would show that this is no where near unexpected. I haven't done the research since 2010, but from '76 to 2009 east coast time zone teams were only 16-42. Time zones are a huge advantage and the night games will always favor the west coast team.
