Chris missed Tue practice with a neck injury. Maybe this is why AC played more than usual vs 49ers?

Perhaps, but it's the first time I've heard of a problem. Teams are pretty close about injury, though, and won't release anything they don't have to.

I know nobody said anything about Carson being hurt in-game or at pressers since. :229031_shrug:

I hope he's ok but he's turning into Mr. Glass. Can't wait to see what AC can do again.

Mr. Glass?

Carson takes a ridiculous amount of punishment per game because he refuses to go down with the first few hits.

It has been an issue for some time.

That is eventually going to catch up with him and apparently has.

But the disparaging nickname isn't fair because he is the opposite of Mr. Glass. His problem is the unwillingness to go down when there are too many people hitting him at once, because someone is going to hit him from an odd angle while he is being held up.

Ive been hoping he would channel his inner S. Alexander a little more and run out of bounds or go down when in a pile.

The guy pushes the pile too often when it is not an immediate need.

And it gets him hurt.

But come on, Mr. Glass??? He isn't Procise or even Penny.

The name does kind of fit though because he gets hurt at an alarming rate anymore. Like I said about Carson, its not if he gets hurt, its when.

Collins brings more to the table and i'm excited to see him get the carries to be honest, but wish Carson the best.

Maybe he should follow the Alexander method and work the sidelines and crumple at the first sign of an imminent tackle.

But seriously, he's a workhorse and yes, takes a beating. I'm also kind of hoping Collins gets the start and show us what he can do as #1.

Not sure why so many posters feel the need to take digs at Alexander who was our highest producing back in team history. Maybe Carson could use some lessons in better taking care of his body, because at this point, he has become a liability with his lack of reliable availability. If you can't play, you can't produce.

Many fans appreciate the toughness needed to play the game of football. So we admire those that display toughness to a high degree. As much as I enjoyed Alexander, his style was the antithesis of toughness from a RB.

Let me ask you: Lynch or Alexander? You can only pick one to watch.

Have a sneaking feeling he will not play because of the short week.
Neck issues are not to be taken lightly.

I'm real sick of the count em out crowd or *mod edit* crowd in this forum. Dude has missed nine games in the last three seasons. Total of 48 regular season games. Mr glass? Mr ass are some of you posters. Dude has been killing himself when he is in and yet some of you people will write him off. Stupid!!!

I will still cheer for AC though because that's how football works. Rbs dont stay healthy forever.

Also, piss poor comments on Alexander. Like some one said...best rb seahawks have had and an MVP, but yeah you right...he's more known for finding sidelines.

Absolutely.

NFL fans: Our player must put his body on the line by fighting for that extra yard.

Also NFL fans: Our player is "made of glass" when he inevitably gets injured while repeatedly fighting for that extra yard.

Dear God, dudes.

I enjoyed watching SA as much as anyone running behind that HOF OL--I'm a fan. And I was also NOT enjoying watching him fall to the ground after he got paid. I CAN have it both ways.
I'm sure there have been SA threads/arguments in the past. Don't know for sure, never participated in them.

It sucks that Carson is likely out this week. Hopefully he recovers and continues with a great career ballin' for the Hawks.
