Our offensive has been based on magic the last two years. When the magic runs out you're left with very little.

Rivera: "Kevin, we've played the Seahawks 3 times in the past three years and lost every one. Tell us how to beat the Seahawks."

Norwood: "Well, you don't have to worry, if they have the lead, they'll blow it somehow."

Rivera: "Really, do tell."

Norwood: "Did you watch the SuperBowl?"

Rivera: "Well said."

Rivera: "What can you tell us about Jimmy Graham."

Norwood: "Well, I wasn't his teammate for long, but just keep rushing Wilson, he doesn't throw it to Graham, anyways. Jimmy Graham, who?"

Rivera: "What works against the Legion of Boom?"

Norwood: "The Legion of Boom doesn't really scare anyone anymore. Did you see any of their games this year? Just abuse Cary Williams with double moves or put a small fast guy on Sherman and have him run curls, come backs and quick hitches."

Rivera: "What about Lynch?"

Norwood: "You don't have to worry, their offensive coordinator is Darrell Bevell. He didn't even want Lynch to run with one yard left. Remember the SuperBowl? Lynch remembers it."

Rivera: "They beat us three times before, but just like the Packers did, we'll get our revenge this time."

This is probably how their conversation went.

Why aren't we throwing the ball deep more? That use to be a big part of our offense, especially when defenses put eight in a box????

The pass routes take too long and the protection breaks down before the ball can be thrown. After that it's scramble drill.

I imagine Norwood would have useful insights on things like if Matthews is in the game it is 80 percent chance a run, If they see this look the default audible is such and such. Perhaps hand signals, things he has observed get to certain players.

I know a lot of Hawk fans want to bag on Norwood because he did not do much, but then again, what receiver who is here gets to do much?

We have the most simplistic offense in the NFL.

You can see every thing you need to see just watching film, since our beloved OC never changes his patterns or throws out some wrinkles.

Much ado about nothing.

It's to the point now that the announcers each week comment on how predictable the play calls are.

But hey, the offensive coordinator thinks it's ok to never adjust, let alone attempt something to confuse the defense.

I disagree. Haven't you seen the playcalling on 3rd and short when he goes empty sets to confuse the defense in regards to what we're going to do.

They've played us every season for the last 27 years... what could they possibly glean from someone who road the pine for 99% of his time in Seattle that they're own personal, who actually played/coached in those games, doesn't already know about us......? Ay, yi, yi pinche vatos locos...

We're the most predictable team on both sides of the ball in the entire league, I doubt Norwood is giving the Panthers anything they don't already know.
