And kill the Cowturds with screens . . . making everything easier on Russell Wilson.

According to DVOA, Dallas has the 20th ranked pass defense and is 23rd against the run. They are allowing 4.3 yards per carry.

RB Mike Davis vs. Cowboys run defense – Despite the Seahawks relying on the passing game last week, Davis was able to force two missed tackles against the Rams on only six carries. That was the third straight game Davis has forced two or more missed tackles. In those three games, Davis is tied among running backs in forced missed tackles in the run game with nine. The Cowboys are currently ranked 11th in missed tackle percentage on the season at 12.1 percent, with 34 of their 93 missed tackles coming since Week 11. The Cowboys missed six tackles against running backs in their last two losses as compared to seven across their last three wins.

23rd? I suspect after we play them their defense will be #15 against the run.

If SEA can control the clock it'll help massively, I'm sure Dallas will be trying to do exactly the same thing to keep Russ off the field.

We haven't been able to run the ball no matter who we play. Not sure anything changes this week. Sometimes stats or more indicative of who you have played rather than what you are capable of doing.

We haven't run the ball all year, why start now.

That should be on the 2017 Seahawk DVD when it goes on sale next year. "The 2017 Seattle Seahawks, Chris Carson led the team in rushing and didn't play the last 10 weeks!" The End.

I heard they're moving Ifedi to tailback and putting Rawls at RT.

Almost certainly no. Have we had a single dominant rushing game this entire season? Even last year we had the Detroit playoff game and Carolina regular season games where Rawls went off.

I"m wondering if this is really why Rawls has been in the dog house.

https://www.fieldgulls.com/2017/12/21/1 ... ussion-jaw

On that play, Rawls appears to give a half-hearted attempt to block San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Arik Armstead, and the play ends with Armstead sacking Russell Wilson. As is seen by the game clock in the video, that play took place with just under 9 minutes left in the third quarter, and by my count, Rawls played zero snaps after giving up that sack.

Depends on the MVP. If he plays like he has the last two weeks the Hawks will have their @zzes handed to them.

Too bad Ifedi isn’t held to that standard.
