On another note, we made a steal on Jadeveon Clowney. How can the same people be making these decisions? One trade is brilliant and then Prosise makes you wonder what is going on?

Prosise plays well in a couple of pre-season games and all of the past is suddenly forgotten? Bet he gets hurt this week in practice and won't be available next week. I hope I'm wrong, gosh I hope I'm wrong.

It's his potential the front office loves. It's admittedly very seductive with that kind of talent.

Would it make more sense to you to have kept Prosise around for years while he was injured only to cut him now that he's healthy and looks like a top 15 NFL running back on a rookie contract?

If Prosise gets hurt week 1 we can probably just get McKissic back then.

So you want to keep McKissic? Yes it's risky but it's not like he's pushing out anyone we'll miss. The Prosise indignation seems to have a life of its own.

I can see what the front office sees, when he's on the field he's electric. They must feel the injuries were injuries of bad luck and recoverable and nothing that will continue lingering. If the gamble is him or JD they made the right choice

Prosise is probably the most elite creator type weapon on roster. If so, I can see value in wanting to keep him but he’s likely on his last chance.

You don’t give up guys with talent, I guess. It’s more you give up on guys who are or become malcontent and cancerous whose actions are detrimental to the team or the talent/ability is drained. Prosise looks to be neither. However, he is probably on a very short leash to not only remain healthy and active but to produce when given the opportunity. The worst case scenario to me would be if they were force to keep him because he’s the best option available for 3rd Down RB across all league wide resources.

The Seahawks are hoping he shows a little more motivation and desire to stay on the field in a contract year.

If active he is #2 on my depth chart.

He’s a game changer. He was huge against New England his rookie year. He’s lightning in a bottle. Fingers crossed.

He was very impressive against the 2nd and 3rd strings of the teams we faced in Pre-season. What I want to see is his "lightning" moves against our first four opponents....Cincinnati, Pittsburg, New Orleans and Arizona.

Rumor has it, he was surprised he didn't get cut and jumped for joy. In doing so, further injured his hip and is now out for the season.

That was an easy call for the FO in my opinion. CJ's ceuling is very high, were guys like Mckissic can be found anywhere.

Hard to believe all of the negativity in here, almost like you can't wait to see him fail. The injury jokes wore out long ago and are not even close to cute, just shows how childish the tellers are. You guys must be fun to be around in your everyday lives.. Doom and gloom from morning to night..
We should all hope the man sets the NFL on fire, but if he doesn't, life goes on, Next man up..
Look on the bright side, life is good, enjoy it...!!

With our issues at WR, I would like to see him used like we used Tate.

Would give him more opportunities to avoid contact and allow us another weapon in the passing game, an area we need help.

He’s playmaker/game breaker, they won’t let him go for nothing.

With our new players we have a Kick returner and punt returner, Homer can catch run inside and outside and is also a good special teamer, running inside I think is what made Homer the one who got the job.

We already have a younger McKissic on the roster. His name is Travis Homer.

All I can say is that the guy is clutch because I don't think there was anyway he was making this team without those performances the last 2 games. We all know that if he can stay healthy he can be a difference maker but we've only seen it a couple of times. I really hope he can turn this around.

2 Questions:

1. Is he tough enough to play consistently in the NFL?

2. What other teams would want him given his injury history? This is a question I wrestle with and I see it as the main reason Pete and John kept him and that being another team would pick him up quickly.

I don't disagree with his talent, I question his heart. That being said, Pete and John are pretty good at measuring toughness and heart so here we are with him making the cut.

2 Observations:

1. I would guess most of the posters here that are negative or down on CJ would be elated if it works out this year. I know I would.

2. His past injury history and the appearance of his lack of toughness justifies the criticism of him on this board.
