I'm going to give Marshawn the benefit of the doubt. Every year there's speculation and question marks regarding his committment to the team because he won't attend an off-season workout, will miss a practice, etc. But it never winds up being an issue of him having squabbles with the organization or attitude problems. Sometimes being with the team isn't the best way to contribute to the team. Traveling with the team to Minnesota, at the very least, would have cost him valuable rehab time. The only thing to gain would have been moral support, but I wouldn't value an abstract idea like that over maximizing his rehab.
