Remember all those maddening Seahawks teams of years past who would always play down to their opponent and the inferior opponent would inevitably win?

This team feels different. Built different.

Act accordingly, boys.

Take care of business!

LFG!!!

This is a next level kind of game for Seattle. I know Daniels has been hurt but these guys went to the NFCCG . I think.

Seattle can't call themselves contenders until they can win these. Washington will be ready for a scrap.

Scoring first drive td's is hard to get used to. For so many years it was kick a fg, maybe another fg or possibly a td before halftime, then score a couple more td's after the half. Now it's BOOM! LFG! Me likey.

Also, something that looked very different last night: They did NOT let up on the gas. They were aggressive all fricken night long.
Sam Darnold is a grown man. No need to look for a QBOFT, we have him already. I honestly won't be surprised if they trade Milroe in the off season. Someone will be intrigued, as they should be. We could complain (some have) all day about how they should have used that pick for something else. Or..........we can enjoy this ride.

Go Hawks

Sunday Night Football, November 2, 2025, is when the Seahawks officially announced their brand-new identity to the world. Everyone now knows this team commands respect. Am loving the following in particular:
  • SD's field vision, check-down ability, and evasion/mobility capability when needed.
  • SD seldom needing to scramble from the pocket. Kudos to the OL!
  • SD's pass-placement accuracy into receivers' routes where the receiver rarely needs to compensate to make the catch.
  • SD can improvise when all else fails on a play. Last night's drive-saving dump-off pass while falling isn't something just any QB can do. Reminded me of the days RW and Marshawn occasionally made something out of nothing to keep a drive going.
  • On defense, players never assume the other guy "has it taken care of," often augmenting together as a swarming force. Seeing this on offense also.
  • ST contributes strategically, playing like they can make a major impact any time they're on the field.
  • Emanwori is going to develop into one of the most fearsome players on D the NFL. Starting next season, watch out world!

This team is so good the games are boring by half time. I can’t wait for the Rams

Here's the aforementioned dump-off for your viewing pleasure. How he was able to get that off for a completion before inhaling some turf a thousandth of a second later is pretty astounding.

I love that since week 1, Kubiak has made adjustments and strides and the offense has gotten better. It's not always perfect, but much better week in and week out.

Since the Bucs game, MM said he took it personally and the defense has made strides to not let that happen again.

They are built and wired different.

Mike Mcdonald, and the below, are a HUGE part of why Seahawks are BUILT DIFFERENT this season:

Hind-sight is always 20-20. I liked the Milroe pick, but with how Darnold is killing it, i wonder if that 3rd pick could've been spent on a more pressing need for the team? I'm going to look at that 3rd round and see if a player that could be used was available at that spot...

What blows me away even more than the barely-in-time dump-off is what happens from 0:02 to 0:04. LOOK at the way Sam briefly glances to his right. You barely see it. For just a hundredth of a second, he presumably sees a peripheral glimpse of white. And that was all he needed to know a defender was about to maul him from behind. Immediately, he scrambles forward three steps to buy himself another precious second of time just before that dump-off. COLOR ME IMPRESSED -- this is elite-level quarterbacking.

Good point. I need to give Kubiak some credit, as I have been very critical of the guy. But last night he called one hell of a game.

Meh. Why? There has been 100s of posts over the years dwelling on who they should have taken, blah blah blah.
It's done and over with, can't do anything about it. And who's to say they don't flip for a pick next year?
