Game was an utter mess, but there were a few bright spots. Bruce Irvin was one of them: 9 tackles, INT, PD and a sack. No wonder Ken Norton Jr. was so excited talking about his potential. #morethere

It was very encouraging watching his play last night. I'm rooting for him and his continued progression.

Bruce Irvin is easily our best cover linebacker. He was matched up on Chris Givens and won it pretty much every time. He can run stride for stride with damn near any receiver on the field. I must admit, I am quite impressed at his coverage skills.

He did play well, but he did help open up some running lanes for Stacy when he decided to dip underneath certain blocks instead of taking it on. He also needs to work on his zone coverage as he bit on play-action passes badly certain times. Again, he has a good game, but still needs work.
