Guy made 5-6 genuinely awful decisions that game. Pretty much anything downfield was at risk of being intercepted. He has some talent but cannot read NFL defenses yet. Payton definitely has his work cut out for him.

How many games before we witness Sean Payton yelling at Bo on the sidelines?

To be fair to Nix, this was a near-worst-case scenario for him: on the road in a hostile environment with no film to prepare for our defense.

Nix didn't look like an NFL QB today. That may change but he was a checkdown charlie most of the game

You saw why when he ran. He ran twice and all of a sudden it was close. He did that to the Huskies here too. Watch out for him as duel threat.

Yet another example of a kid getting drafted too high and unrealistic expectations bestowed upon him. Next to Mariotta, Nix is probably the most likeable Duck of the Nike era. I never thought he'd be a very good pro and I'm not sure he thought he would be either. Bronco fans have already turned on him.

So what's the fix for Nix in Denver? Simple, trade 2 1sts and 2 2nds to Pittsburgh for Wilson. J/K but....

With that horrible stretch we had in the first half, I think the dimunitive one may have beat us today. Wilson is far better than Bo Nix and it just gets crazier when you consider Denver cut them both checks today.

He could still be an NFL QB but I felt he was drafted too high and probably had to sit for a bit. I think a lot of his passing yards in college were high YAC which we gave none of yesterday. Broncos will clutch at anything though in the hopes they find a QB.
