Rylie Mills is exceptionally athletic for an interior lineman. He ran a 4.79 40, which is pretty darn fast for a D-tackle. He once had 3 sacks in one game in college agasint Florida State. He was also second team All-American.

One epic story about Mills is that after his ACL injury, he took a 25-hour RV trip to cheer on his teammates in the Orange Bowl (CFB semifinals) because he was not cleared to fly due to his surgery.

We may have to start a Rylie Mills/Chuck Norris thread.

His arms are bigger than most peoples legs. Couple his strength with the "high motor" he was known for in college...MM will have a new section of cool stuff to dial up.

What sold me from early on, was in training camp he was always there with the D line going through the motions (mimicking) of what was being taught. He was just off to the side listening and learning. I thought that was special of the young man.

Someone's in their cave mumbling about their murphy sux opinion still being legit...but not publicly.

It honestly wasn't in question for anyone taking more than a cursury look. He played his role exceptionally last year and the D-line feasted from it. No one in the locker room had any doubts.
There's a good reason Big Cat loves the kid

I spilled my beer on that sack jumping up from my couch. And when I saw Mills on the back of the jersey.
I turn to my friends and said holy s*** this guy must have just been activated for the SB. He didn't play a single down the whole season and playoff leading to the Super Bowl.
From time to time I watched his Notre Dame highlights. Mills is a man playing among children in those videos. Such a force of explosion.
Dude runs 4.7 40 at 6'5"
nearly 300lbs.
Think about it? It's only half a second
Slower than Shaheed over 40 yards.
That's crazy

Rylie Mills played only 5 snaps because otherwise it wouldn't have been fair.

The NFL asked the Seahawks to limit Mills' playing time because the ratings for the Super Bowl would have been worse if the score was too lop-sided.

No one noticed but Rylie Mills played cornerback on his other 4 snaps.
