I have had this talk with my son as well 
The 49ers hatred hasn't stuck yet... but he knows about the seahawks I'm still working on player recognition but he does say "that's beastmode" when he sees a picture of marshawn Hes almost 4.

Oddly, my kids, who are 13, 10 and 7, not only know how I feel about the Seahawks, but understand the relative rankings of the teams, i.e. if Dallas or the Steelers are playing anyone else, I'm rooting for the other team, always, and if Dallas and the Steelers are playing each other, I'm rooting for injuries. Mostly I enjoy Romo's emotional pain, and they know that too.
I have a soft spot for the Bears and Eagles. They know that too. I'll root for the Giants against many teams.
They understand that if the Steelers play the 49ers I probably can't watch.
