Best D-Line Ever Metrics?

I am not saying they ARE the best. But they are pretty damn good. So my question is this. What objective metrics could we use to best assess how good they are? Being able to defend the run (and QB scramble) and pressure the QB with 4 and rarely blitzing (reg season) puts them on a different plane. What would they need to do next year to put themselves in a historic level?

Started it in the Superbowl, make opposing QB's wet themselves, make O linemen fake injuries to go to the sideline as they had enough.
