"Calm down, we're all professionals here."

Stacy says Waldon wrote about 30 things on the board that he did wrong.

I wonder if the stealers could use an OC. I'm sure RW will vouch for him.

In other news, Jackson Smith-Njigba was heard to say: "Good Luck..."

Darrell Bevell maybe available, he developed the original Russell Wilson that has derp ball accuracy, perhaps Bevell can help that second coming of Russell Russell who struggles with deep ball accuracy?

Lewis was an azz by publishing his OC private letter to players. Best way to prepare your OC to be fired

Pete still hired him so both can be true.
Because Pete was Russ's enabler. Wrong on him for giving in and again, placing his favorite player above the team. Shane should havr never been hired. Schotty should have never been fired.

But Waldron... i hope it makes folks appreciate what the current Seahawks QB had to overcome for 2 years just to make us competitive.

Waldron is a hack.

Eh, Waldron's not the primary issue with the Bears' offense. He's the scapegoat, and this speaks more to the Bears' culture than anything.

When the man calling the plays is enept and his guys are calling him out basically in public, he is the major problem.

If that offense had Grubb, do you think they would be the clown show they are? No way. Lefluer? No way. Plug in anyone who knows anything about scheming offense and leading men, and they are immediately better.

Waldron wont make it tbrough the season.

If your players publicly call out the OC in week three, culture is the problem. If Waldron is fired mid-season, again, culture is the problem.

Waldron is an average offensive coordinator with a below-average quarterback. If you plug a competent quarterback into that offense, the Bears would be fine. Williams is the issue; Waldron is a scapegoat.

I'd put my money on IT'S THE BEARS, they suck and have sucked for so long it's just pathetic. QB, OC, HC, doesn't matter.

They're one of those franchises that are simply, perennial trash. At best these teams go .500 and maybe get into the WC every decade just to get smoked.

It's one of the reasons I stopped following the NFL as a whole, too many just terrible franchises. No need to waste time on predictable outcomes.

Waldron isnt even qualified to be an OC. The OC is with that side of the ball the vast majority of the time. He leads them everyday. And just as he is unqualified to be an OC, he sure as hell isnt qualified to lead an entire side of the ball.

Thr only reason he's an OC is because Pete threw him a bone to appease Russ. Thats it.

Thats all.

And when he gets fired from Chicago, he wont get another shot again. The league knows he sucks. Analysts know he sucks. I just hope for his sake he save all the dollars Seattle and Chicago gifted him.

Caleb Williams? The Bears offense? You wont see what they can do until Shane is gone.

Alright, but Waldron's had a top-16 offense every season in Seattle in DVOA and EPA. So, what are your qualifications for being a qualified OC?

Pete and John wanted Waldron. The stories that Waldron was Wilson's guy came from Wilson's camp. They wanted to make it seem like Russ had power in the organization—that Seattle's choice was his choice. We know Seattle planned on moving on from Russ the following offseason. They didn't hire Waldron to appease Russ.

Waldron is flawed. He hasn't figured out how to overcome bad offensive line play. That's a huge issue in Chicago, and unlike Seattle, they don't have an experienced quarterback to bail them out. Instead, Williams is completing passes at a rate of 5% under expected. He's a bottom-five quarterback. And as we saw with Frank Reich last season, you look incompetent when your rookie QB isn't operating at an expected level.

Great coaches get the best out of their players. Although they have a system, they adjust it for their players to maximize results. They get rid of things their players can't do, and build around what they can. I don't see it with Waldron.

His play calling was a little better. Still calls too damn many screen passes. We saw enough of that from Getsy!

We did get the running game working today. This was the first game Swift earned his salary.

The offensive line is still a mess. Their specialty is pre-snap penalties.

Amen

Also of note was the lines of drivel posted by the anti Geno membership club about how it’s not on Shane. Hilarious to see the exact same issues in Chicago meanwhile Geno is playing very good in Grubbs system.
