If you cant handle a little friendly banter between rivals, then you really need to find something else to do with your time. I always hear how if we come here we have to have thick skin, how about you practice what you preach.

Whatever. Fact is, the Seahawks have not won anything yet, not even the division. Acting like the superbowl is a given at this point is a bad idea.

Please show me one post the claims the SB is a given for the Seahawks this season... I would really like to see who of our fans actually think this.

fact is i doubt you can, yet you clowns continue to spew this crap as if it's a matter of fact.

To be completely honest, I don't mind your existence or your trolling. I guess my only issue with you is the quality. You're making an argument that's been made over and over by every shitty Niner fan I've heard, read or seen:

"I know you destroyed us but what have you won? 5 rings, y'all!! Quest for one! Fail Mary!"

It's lost any effect and it is laughable while we sit atop the division looking down at a team that absolutely has to beat us at home to avoid utter meltdown.

I was thinking of going with "Gee whilikers," so good to see that "Golly gee" is, in fact, the right choice.

Also, this isn't friendly banter, this is "See?! See how good our team is?! Please acknowledge it!" from a bunch of sad people that live vicariously through their precious Niners a bit too much. Well, and rlkats, who is a solid poster, but who should also know better.

I don't think there's one person that's has said it's given. Anything else?

Good find, have to give you props on that. I would like to think the title should read "if" we go to the SB, but i could be wrong, i don't remember that thread.

i still think if you asked any member of this board if they think it's a given, i think you'd get a resounding NO... i'd hope anyways.

Touche......

I think we all can agree that's a wishful thinking thread and not 100% serious (aside from people planning to attend IF we make it).

49er fans are delusional again because their team is revelent again. However, you should wait until the Seahawks lose again before getting too giddy... until then you're just a wildcard team.

Btw, 49er fans... (2012) I think a 11-5 team that was the 4th youngest team in the NFL starting or depending on a bunch of rookies including a rookie QB and rookie MLB to contribute is better than 11-4-1 team...who had more experience and had no rookies make any starts.

And last but not least... if the 49ers lost Staley, Goodwin, Davis, and TE Davis for accumaltive of 15+ starts... you guys would suck, horribly.

I'm not going to dismiss the 49ers. Even though they aren't the hottest team in the NFC, they are definitely Super Bowl contenders. We beat them 29-3 this season, but should solidify our dominance by winning at Candlestick to prove the ignorant idiots wrong.

I did nothing to troll. Just voiced a frustration. Sorry if I started crap. Just voicing an opinion of confusion. I always give credit where credit is due. It seems like most posters on this board are legit but a lot just talk crap with no clue.

In my eyes.. I see the seahawks as a team with a VERY stout defense, very talented run game, with an amazing homefield advantage. Very similar to the NO saints (with the opposite of solid run game). You guys are litterally unbeatable at home, because playing great D mixed with a great running game, with a great crowd is extremely lethal...

However, your kryptonite is playing on the road. Yes you guys have been hearing this the last couple years now.. Yes, you guys are still VERY VERY good on the road, but its still somewhat of a decline in your teams performance. And thats where the difference is between SF and SEA. The niners sometimes play better on the road than at home. (except against seattle lol).

We also understand that you beat us twice in a row. However what alot of seahawk fans dont realize is both those games were IN seattle. If the niners lose to seattle IN sf, I will honestly be shocked and be the first to eat crow. Untill then, I see the niners and seahawks going 1-1 every season for the next however long our teams stay together.

I hate to say it but as long as you guys keep your homefield advantage, theres no way we're beating you in the playoffs. The real question when it gets to that point is.. can you guys win the superbowl in someone elses stadium?

Our QB's arent good enough to win games on their own. The niners depend on other offensive talent just like the seahawks do. It pains me to say this, but Andrew Luck is heads and shoulders above any QB in his draft class/age/experience.

If somehow the niners and seahawks win out (with the niners winning the next matchup) I believe the niners get homefield advantage due to the tie breaker being strength of schedule (niners have a tougher schedule). But both our teams going 14-2 is a very tall order.

Honestly, going to disagree that RW can't win a game on his own. I really wish our defense would have finished the ATL game because we could put that to rest. He really did damn near win the HOU game almost on his own.

I think that Lynch being a top-three back in the league obscures just how dominant Wilson can be. He's not all the way there yet, but he will take over a game if he needs to.

We've quietly been playing some solid ball on the road. Not as good as with HFA, but still very solid. One loss in the last 5 or 6 games (or something like that).

Even if we're forced to hit the road during the playoffs, I don't see a team we SHOULD lose to. I don't think NO is balanced enough to beat us. Next is you, and I'd call that pretty close to a coin flip.

Not sure if you've watched some of the closer games, but Russell Wilson takes over in the 4th quarter and overtime. He does win the game on his own. I've never seen anything like that on my team. He might not be Andrew Luck, but there's no other QB I'd rather have on my team.

They'll disappear after they get curbstomped again, they always do. Then they get brave after beating a couple of weak sisters and show up again. It's pretty pathetic, but yet predictable as Seattle rain in October.
