Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin paid a special visit to a 15-year-old life-long Seahawks fan at Virginia Mason Medical Center Tuesday morning.

Max Cohen was born with Congenital Cytomegalovirus (CMV), which left him deaf by the age of one, and has required a pair of cochlear implant surgeries and extensive therapy.

Baldwin presented Cohen with a CenturyLink Boostbox, a customized fan box filled with Seahawks items, and the two competed in the video game 'Madden NFL 18.'

KIRO 7's Patrick Quinn was at the Virginia Mason Medical Center Tuesday and spoke to both Baldwin and Cohen about their special visit. See more on KIRO 7 News at 6 p.m. on-air or here.

Baldwin gave a closer look at the items in the 'Boostbox' in a tweet on Monday:

Doug is an underrated dude.

Gee Scott was mentioning that Doug tries to hard to limit the exposure on all the programs he supports and the people he helps. He does not look for the attention on many of the issues he supports and I feel that does his efforts a disservice.
