I predict a sweep by the astros
All the years of Jerry the 🤡 DiBozo with his dumpster diving obsession for acquiring players, has finally made it obvious to literally everyone now, that this organization has ZERO margin for error & is/always has been short on real baseball talent on the Major League roster.

Think about it: For YEARS, MARCO GONZALEZ was the ACE of the starting rotation. One year, MIKE LEAKE was their #1. Gimme a break.

Right after Julio predictably struck out with the game on the line, I was thinking about how I actually had more faith in Polanco to get that run in. Julio has absolutely no clue at the plate. That dude is Juan Encarnacion at best. They might want to consider Polanco at Leadoff until a healthy Robles is back.

Good win to start the series. Bliss (!) with a 2 run jack and Polo with a 2 RBI single. Moonie with the save. JP with a diving stop and throw from his knees to 1st for a critical out in the 9th.

Needed this because we're facing their two best starters coming up.

Polanco, when healthy, is a hell of a lot better than people give him credit for. At least at the plate.
Any time the ASStros lose, another kid gets a puppy. So......hopefully 2 more puppies soon.

Side note, when Munoz is ON, he's almost unhittable. Filthy af.

When the Stros went ahead in the 8th, I was thinking here we go again.

100 percent. This team finds all kinds of ways to lose. I stick to my opinion that they should have won 2 of 3 against the Giants.

Side note, that play in the 9th by JP, holy hell. One of the best defensive plays I've ever seen. Kind of surprised the Turdstros didn't challenge it.

I was wrong. Nice win by the mariners. But I’ve completely fallen off the Julio bandwagon

I'm not concerned about Julio one bit. If you wanna' be, that's great.
For the record, I'm not concerned about Julio. I know that wasn't directed at me. He's just vastly overrated in my opinion.

He'll have a couple good months for sure but he'll be mostly garbage the other 4 months.
