We have not lost in Philadelphia since 1989. That won't change now.

Seahawks 23, Eagles 16

Unfortunately I was at that 1989 game. I did get to see Largent catch a TD though.

I was there also and say the same thing about seeing a Largent td.
I still have my ticket stub.

Conditions on the field worry me. Heavy rain is forecast. Turnovers are a problem in these conditions and that's our bane this season.

Fun? Ya know what would be fun? If the Hawks blew somebody's doors off for a change!

NOTE: This post has been deleted 5/22/20, ------- this comes after multiple unprovoked attacks on me by the asshole acer1240. I will never post here again. This site has officially gone to hell & I'll never return.:

If there's significant rain involved that will be the great equalizer. Russ simply isn't himself in rain. Hopefully Carson and company can carry the load and prevail.

Their starting 3 (THREE) wr's are OUT for this game. Their pro bowl RT is OUT for this game...This is a Seahawk win.

I understand why the NFL wants to see GB and SF on Sunday night. I don't like the move for the Hawks and think this will cost us the game. Philly need this more than we do right now. An early morning east coast game, it is expected to be in the 40's and raining. I don't like this one bit. Coming off a big win and a weeks reset I am expecting a very slow start. I have a bad feeling about this one as most think this should be an easy win. Let's see what happens. Go Hawks.

Philly wins 31-30

All World RT Lane Johnson has been ruled out, and this is a HUGE loss for them. If the hawks can hold Philly to under 70 yards rushing we win by 10+. If the Eagles get 71+ yards rushing it will be a one score game either way at the end.

Make. Wentz. Beat. Us.

Too many factors working against the Hawks here:

Clowney a "game time decision"
Rain in the forecast and we know that's is Russ' kryptonite
10 AM game which is tough even if the team is light years better in that situation than under Holmgren
Beagles desperate for a win to stay in the playoff hunt

Yeah, against the Saints, he went 32-50, 406 yards, 2 TD's, zero picks.

This he can't play in the rain thing is really not completely accurate. But...…...hopefully it rains and he tears it up. Will just be another in a line of many things he does that people claim he can't :irishdrinkers:

One of the reasons I usually wait until Saturday is that you find out what kind of crap injuries or other issues (weather) show up that can really screw up a football game. Now we have a potential crappy, rainy game day and Clowney as question marks. You can't get much worse than that for this team.

But even with all that going against us, the Eagles may have it even worse. They are without their top three receivers from what is being reported and their all pro RT. You have to think their run game isn't going to be that strong in those conditions and I seriously doubt Wentz will be able to pass well enough to make up the difference.

My sincere hope is that Clowney somehow is able to play, even if it isn't at 100%.

So I doubt this is going to be nothing more than a very close game that will be decided by no more than 3 points.

There were plenty of instances prior to the Saints game where his aim was noticeably off all day in the rain.

I am a big Wilson fan. I think he's the rightful MVP, the best Seahawks QB of all-time, and firmly elite. And I don't think he's always played well in the rain.

This, all of this.
The hourly forecast calls for it to stop raining just before 1:00 p.m. in Philadelphia tomorrow. That doesn't mean that's what will happen because the last time they forecast that was the saints game and it rained the whole game so I'm not getting my hopes up for a dry game

Yea I consider myself a fair supporter and critic of Wilson. Almost every single poor performance of his can be attributed to bad weather.

Even in that Saints game, he missed a couple throws he RARELY misses these days. If he ever improves on that, he'll pretty much be unstoppable.

My theory is that due to his height Russ relies even more on throwing lanes. So bad weather reduces visibility. I also think he's not in an offense that schemes receivers wide open necessarily. So the tight window throws he usually makes is nearly impossible in bad weather

Heavy wind, rain/snow mix and Clowney out will be too much to overcome.
