And you can bet your ass if that game was reversed the narrative would be something about how this process az is amazing and the hype is real etcetc

I truly never got excited for this game. I just didn't feel it. If it was week 3 it would have meant more because there would have been a lot of unknowns. I feel like I have been waiting for the playoffs for awhile now. I don't think the loss really matters because it didn't change anything at all. Not one single thing for AZ. It also has no bearing on any future games.

If we won of course I'd be excited, but I just didn't feel that intensity of a regular season game where so many things are up in the air and it seems like every game matters.

We got beat. I never let a loss make me feel like it's the end of the world. We will live to play another game. There isn't a team in the league without a loss. This game didn't make AZ a bad team all of a sudden. We are still a very capable team. I honestly did not see us running the same style of offense we have in the past. That was not the AZ offense out there. I feel that way, and I think the more knowledgeable posters would agree that AZ wasnt running their typical concepts today. Although it was hard to tell from being in seats close to the field as that vantage point sucks.

I'm really happy the season is over and a new one is beginning.

Yeah Arians looked like he was mailing it in on the sidelines, does he always look like a freshly cooked Beet on the sidelines when he is mailing a game in?

Your excitement level over the game has no bearing on what the players and coaches were feeling, which is all that matters.

There is no way that the Cards were mailing it in with some alternate game plan with the #1 seed on the line. Cmon.

Arians made it CRYSTAL clear before the game that he wanted it badly. He hates Seattle and was going all out.

Arizona looked like crap because Seattle kicked their tails, pure and simple.

Downplay it all you want, but any Cards fan who walks away from that game indifferent to the result is lying to themselves. You just got destroyed at home by the reigning champs.

I personally am not going to get worked up over this game.

You guys got whooped by the Rams. Does that mean Seattle doesn't have a chance now? I don't think the players are going to let this game decide theirs future chances. We are a 13 win team. Division winner. Seattle can no longer claim that. They are a 10 win wildcard team. That's just as beatable as anyone else and that's been proven 6 times this year.

I never saw Arians or the players body language. I did hear him say we had a horrible week of practice. Outside of that who knows. I do know we have two weeks to get healthy and game plan.

The only thing this game changes is power rankings and opinions. It doesn't change the facts and accomplishments over the previous 16 weeks. If 1 game in the regular season decided all of that then why play the other 15?

In my opinion. And how I feel is it was a basic game plan. That's not the offense we run week to week. Doesn't matter what I think or what you guys think. You still have to win your game. We earned the privilege by winning 13 games to not have to play next week

Yeah, the Cardinals really didn't care about trying to win when the Panthers were losing to the Bucs in the first quarter. Who cares about Home Field Advantage!! VANILLA GAME PLAN IS ON!!

Sounds like excuses a little bit saying the team had no fire. They didnt rest thier starters, they came to play and wanted to beat seattle. But the problem was they ran into a better team that beat their ass on defense and on offense. we almost beat AZ earlier in the season when we were playing very bad. This time it was the usual seahawks AZ asskicking.

Thread should be called "seahawks dominance".

Time will tell.

I guess I should start polishing your super bowl trophy again. I guess all Seattle has to do is show up. (The Rams game was a guaranteed win too right)

We shall see

I thought the game didnt bother you....

Cmon man, you cant start a thread titled "Arizona's Dominance" and then not expect some ribbing when we kick your teeth in a few days later. Seattle could have won that game by 60 if they wanted to.

Arians said he wanted to run up the score, but now AZ fans are pretending they were playing vanilla? LOL

I know it helps the pain, but the better plan is just to acknowledge that you got destroyed, and pray your team gets it together before the NFC championship game.

By the way, maybe you should change your avatar to show Stanton throwing picks. Might be more appropriate.

ringless, you're disappointing. Honestly. Arians made it clear that this game meant a lot. He wanted to blow Seattle out. So what sense does it make to come out with a 'basic' game plan against your hated division rival, and the best defense in the league? They couldn't take those deep shots because their offense was held in check from the start - pure and simple.

And I find that you using Seattle's 10 wins as a measuring stick is a bit comical. You love to cite DVOA. Well, we're No. 1 in that as well. Ahead of your Cardinals. So enjoy the division crown. It means nothing now.

This Seattle team is battle tested. They know what deep playoff runs look like and what it takes to make them happen.

Arizona is the one team I truly want in the playoffs.

The Seahawks lost to the Rams at home by 6 points. The Cards lost to the Seahawks by 30 at home. Which game is traditionally considered as a "whooping"? 99.9999% would say the latter. Only Ringless would consider a 6 point loss a whooping.

There aren't adjectives to describe what Seattle did to Arizona today, especially if we are using Ringless' scale.
