I will have to say for once losing wasn't upsetting. I went to todays game and it was hard to even get excited because I didn't feel there way anything on the line.

I will say this, the offense and play calling today was not what we would see in a normal Bruce Arians offense. Not even one attempt at a deep shot. It's possible that we weren't running our normal routes etc as we may be playing each other again shortly but there is no evidence of that either way.

The loss doesn't bother me so much because it really changed nothing. We are still the 2 seed with a bye week. A win or loss wouldn't have changed any of that. It didn't really change my perspective on the accomplishments of the season because this is one week out of 17.

Seattle took it to us today, and that's okay. Everything is the same today as it was yesterday

Wow...

I love the humility expressed in this post. Enough said.

I distinctly remember a deep shot on Sherm that he snuffed out.

On the intermediate shots Palmer and his receivers seemed to be reading from different playbooks.

Stop making excuses. You talked shit (more subtle then others) , and it back blasted into your face accept the whippings and move on.

Arizona fans flock to this board all season when things are going great for them. Just look at this thread itself.

Disappear with one blowout loss and make excuses

Hilarious

Nothing on the line.....other than homefield advantage throughout......:)

Considering Arians claimed before the game that he was going to run up the score if he could, I doubt he was playing vanilla.

You are right though. This could have no impact. Or it could propel your team back to playing good football. Or it could ruin confidence levels, having the schoolyard bully bash your teeth in without mercy.

NFL teams respond in so many ways.

To say nothing has changed from yesterday is BS, ringless. Your coach had it out to smoke Seattle today and instead he got blown out by 30 in his own building. Maybe nothing 'technically' changed, but mentally? Oh yes, yes it did.

Want you guys in the playoffs when we get Beast and Kam back.

Wtf are you talking about? His post is a excuse filled cry fest trying to rationalize his team getting crushed at home with plenty on the line. It matters, regardless of admittance or not.

I truly never got excited for this game. I just didn't feel it. If it was week 3 it would have meant more because there would have been a lot of unknowns. I feel like I have been waiting for the playoffs for awhile now. I don't think the loss really matters because it didn't change anything at all. Not one single thing for AZ. It also has no bearing on any future games.

If we won of course I'd be excited, but I just didn't feel that intensity of a regular season game where so many things are up in the air and it seems like every game matters.

We got beat. I never let a loss make me feel like it's the end of the world. We will live to play another game. There isn't a team in the league without a loss. This game didn't make AZ a bad team all of a sudden. We are still a very capable team. I honestly did not see us running the same style of offense we have in the past. That was not the AZ offense out there. I feel that way, and I think the more knowledgeable posters would agree that AZ wasnt running their typical concepts today. Although it was hard to tell from being in seats close to the field as that vantage point sucks.

I'm really happy the season is over and a new one is beginning.

Maybe just maybe that was from the constant pressure on Palmer and the fact you had no run game? I don't buy the that wasn't the az offense excuse.. It didn't look like it cause you got worked...

It was a failure by your team. That always has a bearing on the future.

What bearing that is will be determined by the players and coaches.

No need to try and explain it to Hawk fans. We saw it. Contrast that to the way the Seahawks and Panthers approached their last game.
