Some of us can tell the difference between a simple observation and a passive-aggressive potshot.
The funny thing regarding Seattle's roller-coaster draft performance through the years is that it makes criticism of Pete Carroll tough to nail down. For a long stretch the quality was down, and then we got the eye-popping 2022-2023 drafts. If he wasn't running the show and deciding the draft picks, like some people believe, then the long drought wasn't his fault (and the one who did, just won another Super Bowl with us). If he was, like many others believe, then we have to credit him for Spoon, JSN, Cross, Walker, Hall, and Charbonnet.
So either way, frankly, the insistence on subtly bringing the matter up two years after he left the team, for seemingly no reason, doesn't really seem merited.
