Hopefully this is huge learning moment for riqThat's wasn't about speed. Woolen has shown in the past that if he gets distracted or starts to doubt himself he misses assignments and gets beat.
He was caught up in the stupidity of the play before. McVay knew it and went after him. Same way they did in week 1 where he got beat a couple of times and they went right at him when his head was out of it. First one was a big play to their TE2 and then going back to him again for a TD in the EndZone.
It's a tendency he needs to break. Hopefully almost getting his team beat in the NFCCG is enough to do it - and get him to mature.
Hes been getting beat constantly since last season, by wr's and tight ends. Dudes constantly trailing. Horrible technique i guess.![]()
Barely noticed riq in a good way most of the year. What? Woolen had a great year this, he definitely isn't being beat constantly.

100%I think Riq sealed his off season fate tonight. Macdonald clearly values we over me. Look at last week against the Niners where he praised the team’s “poise” in the face of constant antagonism by them. Clearly they need Riq for one more game so they will downplay it like they did in the pressers yesterday, but that penalty and his poor decision making almost cost the whole franchise and city a win on the biggest stage. I think that just guaranteed him a one way ticket out of here after the season.
If his agent is worth half the commission he's charging, he'll be telling his client that he may have just cost himself millions, and that any issues in the Super Bowl *will* cost him millions. He had helped himself up till last night, it may have cost him millions. Head cases get second chances sure, Ramsey is one. But habitual offenders get shorter contrats also, I know he is an enigma, when he is on he is lights out, problem is his bulb burns out occationally like last night and it's always at the worst times.
And when Jobe was out there in place of Woolen it was worse. So it's just a matchup problem all the way around. He matched Adams up on Witherspoon and Puke up on Wollen a lot with a lot of outs and or second level slants. Woolen could not match the cutting ability of Puke and Adans was just taller the Witherspoon. Yes you need a QB as skilled as Stafford to work, but was watching it a lot, when we dropped deeper with our LB's is when we started getting hit with the runs so bad also.
I recall reading several weeks ago that he made the statement that he has no intention of returning. Perhaps he figures a ring will get him a payday somewhere else? He is probably correct@Yeah. I have a feeling he's out of here after the SB is over.
Really then why is jobe starting in front of him. Why was he benched? All thay great play?Back up your statement. He had some bad plays this season sure, every CB does. But saying he "got beat constantly" is absolutely untrue.
Stats are great. DK had great stats too. Its the crucial situations that matter.
He basically maintained and marginally improved that rate through the final 5 games as well - allowing a further 52 yards on 17 targets.

Its not? Who started the game yesterday? Jobe. And are you saying Woolen wasn't benched this season? The only reason he wasn't benched longer is all the injuries we had in the secondary. .maybe do a little research after you get done yawning.Yawn. Guess you are stuck back in week 2. Can't back up your opinion because it's not based in reality.
