Anyone else GLAD the Hawks play Lions and Bears this year?

I hate each of those teams like their a rival. I'm not sure why? Maybe because they're tragic underachievers.

I hope the Hawks physically emasculate each of those squads.

And the only reason I don't like it is because every time we go to Chicago we end up with O-line injuries and concussed players. I just feel like the place is tainted with the injury bug.

I am still not convinced this team can win road games because I feel the offense as a unit is still growing. I am not looking forward to these games on the road. Specially with Detroit losing today, they may be coming at the next game highly emotional and Pete asked all the players to watch this, I am hoping they don't see this as an easy to beat team based on how Detroit played today until the last 2 minutes.

I think the Lion's were a mirage last year. I kept hearing people on here talk about how brilliant Stafford was. IN all the games I watched of him last year I though he was really inconsistent and overrated. I mean it's alot easier to look brilliant when you have Megatron your throwing too.

Last night, the Lion's looked undisciplined and one dimensional. I expect the Hawks defense to shut them down on Sunday and I expect a convincing win-- read-- a game that isn't decided on the last drive.

Totally with you on this. And, IMO, the physically unrelenting style of play of the Seahawks demands the opponent be "ready" to play, 4 quarters. The Lions aren't that type of team, never really have been. Underacheivers AREN'T going to beat the Seahawks.

And, "waaaahhhh, waaaahhhh" to Sgt. Largent whining about having to play the Bears and Lions. Its more satisfying seeing the Hawks beat the likes of the Pats and Packers over the Panthers.

It's stupid for me to believe, as a Seahawks fan, that the Hawks can beat two teams I have a personal dislike for?

I cant exactly call your sentiment of wanting to play a Univeristy of Oregon nonconference schedule stupid. Alot of other terms come to mind.
