Dude has been benched in Indy. He has been horrible. Has a 44% completion rate on the season and "tapped out" on a play last week, which was the final straw.

I'll admit it: I badly wanted for us to draft this guy. But, I also would have sat him 1-2 years behind Geno. When they named him the day one starter during his rookie season, I said that Indy was making a huge mistake. Sure looks that way.

No doubt. Def. on both sides. Hard to even guess, but I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if we would have taken him.

Richardson makes a lot of bad decisions from the small sample of ive seen. Must be frustrating as a coach. Still you need to have growing pains. Richardson has only played 10 games total. Cant bench him for Flacco who is turning 40. Even though Flacco gives them the best chance to win now.

God the threads went on and on and on for close to a year, fire Pete, fire John, I'm done with this team, blah blah blah blah blah, dude he hit the roof of the dome, omg this guy is amazing!!! Another classic example of million dollar body with a 10 cent head... so far at least. Maybe he turns out around, I hope he does but but the threads around here were just nauseating.

It makes sense; Indy is probably a playoff team with Flacco. Richardson is one of the worst QBs in the league. If you remove his running, he's significantly worse than Young throwing the ball.

I still think he has a chance to be special but he should’ve sat for a year or two. The throw he made earlier this year I don’t think a single guy in the league could’ve done it

You can't sit high picks for 2 years anymore, the fans, media and owners
put so much pressure on the staff to "Make it work"!
In ARs case I don't think it matters, he doesn't show a good processor
and his accuracy is horrible.
Flacco might be old but the game is easy now for him to be a QB in, I love
watching him show the overhyped QBs how to play the position.

I hear ya. I'm just saying I'm glad we don't have Richardson. Howell, different story. I'd be down to see him play. I doubt he will, but I'm game.

Richardson's Cmp% is nearly 15% below expected. According to the available data, that's more than double Josh Allen's worst season and maybe the worst ever (the data only goes back to 2018). The second worst is David Blough. Does anyone remember David Blough? I don't either.

I like AR. He seems like a good kid, but it's hard to imagine him turning things around and coming anywhere near his mythical potential.

I really enjoyed watching Richardson for those bright flashes. The things he could do were remarkable, but on a down by down basis, he's just not good. Even though I was a pretty outspoken critic of him during draft time, it's not like there wasn't a chance he'd be immediately stellar. I don't know if his accuracy can be fixed, but he'll get another chance at some point.

The knock on Richardson always had to do with his passing accuracy and judgment. A guy who completed 53% of his passes in his last year in college isn't going to become more accurate in the NFL.

For example, Brock Purdy had a completion rate of 71.7% in his last year in college football. People point to Josh Allen as an example of someone who improved his accuracy, but he's the rare exception that proves the rule. Plus he was still more accurate than Anthony Richardson, and he was throwing to receivers at Wyoming, not to SEC level WRs.
