I wanted AR just based off of his raw athleticism and being able to sit behind a fundamentally sound QB like Geno.

I don’t feel bad stating that…I don’t get paid to scout and/or make draft picks.

I too think he was ‘thrown to the wolves’. There’s the injury thing as well.

Nonetheless, he’d have to have a miraculous turn around to be serviceable…let alone to not be considered as a ‘flop’.

Fans, Media and corporate big wigs of a team all want instant gratification. Too much pressure on coaches to force a player in before he is ready then sit him a year and two to develop him. Long run, or is always better to show patience with developing players

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
Richardson's Cmp% is nearly 15% below expected. According to the available data, that's more than double Josh Allen's worst season and maybe the worst ever (the data only goes back to 2018). The second worst is David Blough. Does anyone remember David Blough? I don't either.

I like AR. He seems like a good kid, but it's hard to imagine him turning things around and coming anywhere near his mythical potential.

Jim Irsay: "Did you see him hit the ceiling with the football?! That settles it: we're drafting him, and he's our day 1 starter!"

He never should have started last season. Huge mistake. There's more than one reason the Packers are on track to have only three starting QBs over the course of 40 years.

Dude has been benched in Indy. He has been horrible. Has a 44% completion rate on the season and "tapped out" on a play last week, which was the final straw.

I'll admit it: I badly wanted for us to draft this guy. But, I also would have sat him 1-2 years behind Geno. When they named him the day one starter during his rookie season, I said that Indy was making a huge mistake. Sure looks that way.
That sucks what a waste of his physical talents. Under the right coaching he career would be different

That's the only reason anybody wanted him. Physical tools and potential.

We should all be really happy with Geno as our quarterback. He has recently shown an emotional side that he needs to control... But, he also has all of the skills the Seahawks need as a team leader.

I would feel relieved if they re-sign him. This team has other problems, so having a professional like Geno can give the team confidence. The team needs all of the positive direction it can get right now.

I don't know. Kyle Shanahan couldn't get anything out of Trey Lance, and he was a more polished passer than Richardson.
