Munoz getting some work in a non save situation. 3 days rest, off day tomorrow. Good idea.

Good win, taking the series.

Woo with strong 6.1 innings. 5K/1BB/2 runs. Finished with 32 consecutive scoreless innings, a team record.

Offense broke out in the 6th and 7th. 8 runs total without a home run. Love those RBI singles. :)

Cal still struggling. Hope he catches the fever soon. Gonna need him down the stretch.

Does anyone know what ails Cal? that sub 200 BA is some weak stuff.

Didn't see the game, but encouraging to see they got 13 hits, and no HRs.

Randy is a changed man from the last couple of seasons. He's been solid and reliable, the most valuable hitter of the first half of the season.

Nice to see them take advantage of a bad defensive play on back-to-back nights. Dude should have caught that in the LF, it was in his glove. Flood gates opened after that. Just like on Monday when the 3B had that error.
If that was Randy, he probably would have ran the wrong route
I doubt he would go for it, but I would love to see Randy as a full-time DH. I think Mr. Magoo would be a better LF.

.IIRC, we lucked out on the lottery that year and was able to grab him as high as we did - 2nd overall?

We haven't had a lefty starter since Robbie Ray was traded. Kinda looking forward to when he comes up, but our rotation is already crowded. Maybe a season or two in the pen wouldn't hurt him.
He's too good for the pen unless it was for this season, he's our ace in
waiting, two years of BPen is a waste.

Boy it sucks watching Cal continue to struggle so badly. He's one of the easiest strikeouts in baseball, and I'm not seeing any signs at all that he's starting to work his way out of it. :(

They showed a graphic. His walk rate is up a bit. He needs to just get some singles. It's like he has no timing at all.

Maybe he needs a rehab stint in the minors or something.
