No, that's what I'm saying. The edges are amazing even without our OLB1, the IDL is monstrous...

They're so goddamn good up front that it makes me sad they're being held back so severely by the ILBs, and to a lesser extent the safeties.

I hope so. Getting hard to find help there. These 2 were some of the more coveted FAs at the spot.

I mean Mike did say that his first priority for fixing this defense was up front so its not surprising. If the D-line doesnt play great, we are cooked.

They look fine to me. If they can make a modest improvement on first and second downs, this defense can/should be above average.
