I think we have a few interesting years ahead. If the salary cap ceiling and floor does become a thing in the next cba we may be really set up to compete. Especially if the farm is as stocked up as the hype suggests. Means we are more likely to compete with the Dodgers, mets and Yankees super teams financially. Also forces the A's and Rays to spend money.

I think there's going to be a bitter fight about the salary cap though and could see a long lockout but given the collapse of the TV deals I think owners will dig in.
