Outside of the Packers and Vikings winning, I can't think of a better week where the stars aligned for the Seahawks. As Seahawks fans it's our right to dissect the good, bad and ugly of the win, but right now I am just feeling nothing but gratitude. I have to recall all the years of misery and suffering as a diehard 12 to remind me just how precious these times are. 11-3? If the Seahawks were 11-3 in the 1990's fans would have been streaking in the streets.

Now it's like, "Cool, but keep going!!"

Man, how times have changed. GO HAWKS!

It helped having that beautiful Niner loss. What a classic tragedy for them! They were rushing onto the field at the almost end. That right after I was freaking out about the Falcons win! Nope. then the nodal at the end and the rushing of the field...Thank goodness for Matty Ice and Julio. Inches, mere inches. Plus, how smart was that to not even try an extra point of either variety. That was really smart. And then another TD to sweeten the deal! Just beautiful...

And the Steelers lost, too!

Just one of those days where everything basically bent our way. Great time to be a Seahawks fan!

Not to quibble, but it was actually good the Packers won. The Hawks need them to create a three-way tie with the Saints.

But bad in that it gave the Niners another leg up on SOV......if that ends up being a thing :D

It was a perfect week if we take care of business. All that matters if we win the last 2 games is NO loses 1 or GB wins out.

NO doesn't need to lose 2, they just need to lose 1, right? 2 gives the Hawks a bit of cushion.

All the games going are way is making for an amazing day. I was also recovering in the hospital from colon re-attachment surgery on Friday. My 11 year old son was hell bent on getting to the hospital and watching the game with me because he is my game partner. It just felt really surreal and I will never forget it. Then when we saw the end of the Niners game and the nurse came in and said I needed to get ready to be discharged!! Now I’m in the comfort of my own home catching up on all the days action in its entirety with my son. Amazing day that I will never forget!

We actually need the Vikings to keep winning. We need the Vikings, Eagles, and now the Falcons to keep winning, and root against the Packers, Redskins, and Saints to give us the strength of victory tie breaker over the 49ers.

I'm torn because we are experiencing something we have never experienced in over 40 seasons.. I'm not talkin about 11 and 3. I'm ecstatic about that

I'm talking about 7-1 on the road.

I'm sorry if it's been brought up but does anyone think we are better off going on the road in the playoffs this year? I know that's something none of us have ever imagined, but 7-1 I better than 4-2 at this point

I think playoffs is a different animal and for that crucible you want to be at home.

We are only 4-2 at home because we played 3 10+ win teams at home and went 1-2 against them. On the road we've played 1 10+ win team.

I think in the end we are just as good on the road as at home but I think we are still good at home and definitely when the nation is watching.

I want to be home simply because it means a week off to hopefully heal. Bye teams make the Super Bowl these days and WCs almost never do.

Definitely require the bye week to heal some guys that are out and I am sure there are others who are playing through injuries as well. Right now injuries is the biggest concern for continued success.

I'm not as concerned about the #1 seed as I am about getting at least the #2. The bye and only playing 2 games is huge. But I feel comfortable the team can go on the road once and win.

You aren't lonely on that score. Best turn of events I can recall too. And other than our win, most improbable to boot!
That Falcons game was a mind blower.

Agree with all this. You forgot another thing that has permeated the 2019 fan base...they aren’t winning big enough, they aren’t blowing teams out, they can’t put teams away... Never have I seen so much discord and whining about an 11-3 team in prime position for the #1 seed. So far this season, the Seahawks have provided me with tons of enjoyment. This season, so far has been a thing of beauty. We are witnessing a team that is young in many places learning how to win and sustain no matter what the game is like.

That Whiner choke is a PERFECT example of how teams play to their competition. ALL of them.
They flat out overlooked that team and got kicked in the mouth. A thing of beauty.
