I don't see it happening. 85-90 win range again is more likely. They'll make the offs still though.

Would it be fair to say that you're a real pessimist when it comes to the Mariners?

They won 90 games last season, and although I don't think Cal has the same season he had last year, the team is stronger elsewhere.

Wow Criz, I've always known you're incredibly negative. But 85-90?

I'm going 96 wins. And I feel very confident about it. This is a better team than the team that was 8 outs from a WS. Also, if it wasn't for Woo being down so long, they make the WS, imo.

And if we avoid the huge injury bug to our entire starting rotation, 95 sounds very realistic considering the extra hits we added with Ref and Donovan.

If on opening day, none of the team's starting pitchers and regular line-up players are on the Injured List, I'm going with an even 100 games in the Win column.

Exactly lolol
M's winning 98 games would shock me more than the Hawks winning the owl this year

I don't see it. We got slightly better in some areas but not enough but still a high amount of uncertainty (Who is Cole Young? Emerson? Raley and Robles bounce back after major injuries? Who steps up to replace what Raleigh doesn't replicate? Can some players improve their OBP or are they who they have always been?) . I say 83 wins.

I don't think you are too far off. I think it will be more 87-92 wins. At max 94 win, they will be the 2nd seed again. the winner out of the AL east will be the 1 seed.

everyone here and that i know think they'll make the playoffs again id say theres less doom and gloom this year than normally. The team will *probably* hit 20-30 less homers this year thats the main reason i think they wont get to 98 wins

I feel 100 wins will happen; Our pitching staff will all have a great
season, although Castillo worries me, we have future aces waiting
so, I feel good there.
Our offense looks better; we don't have the annual fried vet or two
who can't hit clogging the offense up.
I just want JRod to be average or better in April and May for once!
LFG!

I'm surprised you didn't have them down for 75 wins
You know Soul, it's ok if someone isn't as enthusiastic about moves made/not made as you are. The season still has to play out. You could be right, he could be right, or neither could be right. I'm with him, I have more question marks about the roster than answers since the end of last season. And that's ok. No one is rooting against them. I could say they go 0-162 and still be rooting for them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and don't need your approval.

Fair enough. I'm just used to his doom and gloom. I don't care if you like my opinion or not, so it goes both ways. He's a fricken whiner, period.
To be honest, your comments often come across as arrogant and not very funny. Calling someone a whiner for sharing their thoughts and opinions says more about you than it does about them. This isn’t the first time you’ve done that.

Also if you are going to call someone out at least replay to them.
