No you agist! Clearly I am laughing at their tacky bicycles! They have gears and brakes. Obviously they are not cool enough to ride fixy's or tall bikes. ALL seahawk fans ride tall bikes! Even the elderly!

Interesting that you see them that way. I see them as dullards riding ordinary bicycles. Clearly not the type of adventurous urbanites who would only ride tall bikes or fixies.

Thats their "faux excuse" for hating the Hawks.... the real reason is Seattle bounces them out of the playoffs on their asses everytime Seattle plays them in the postseason.

I very seldom bring up the Lombardi's and if I do its always in a conversation like this one. That doesn't stop MANY peeps in this very forum to paint me with the "you just talk about the dusty trophies" brush.

I ain't complaining tho. Comes with the territory. Just get used to the fact that with success comes irritating fans of your own team that you can't control and a whole lot of peeps who try to disregard anything you say with the "you brag about ancient trophies" straw man.

So true. As a fan that's had to deal with opposing fans yelling "Where's your rings?" for my entire life (the best was a Tampa Bay Bucs fan at Qwest the season after they won theirs), I now cringe at the thought of hearing Seahawks fans say that to other fans (And they will). UGH.

Oh no doubt. I just don't even think about mentioning it. I might throw out a reference to it amongst the DenialNiner that makes a useless attempt at discounting what the Hawks did, but I would rather just celebrate the achievement with other Hawks fans.

I know several Niner fans closely and we have shared some good laughs since the division was realigned. But these guys have never once mentioned Super Bowls, I mean NEVER. Even tailgating years ago, as Niner fans walked to the stadium the banter never had the SB wins mentioned. The only time I have heard it is on the boards and one crazy dude in Fred Meyer that had a meltdown about the noise in the Clink and went off on my sister in law. They aren't all like that, which is why I attempt to use "many" "most" or "DenialNiner", because there is certainly two classes of Niner fan.
