I don't like the idea of Carter at all. But, if he is an option, it would be in their best interest to see if anyone else that is draft worthy on that UG defense is known to have Carter's ear or be able to influence him. It would be great to have an already established big DL that would command respect and make Carter answer to but I don't think they have that yet.

Emory Hunt (CBS analyst) did just that in his recent mock draft, with the Hawks taking Carter at #5 and then Nolan Smith at #20.
