What a game! (Both games, really.) SF didn't play a great game, but they clawed it out every time they needed to. Gotta love that effort.

No doubt, 49ers D was simply insane. Ryan’s is probably not going to be their DC for long.

I thought you had to have an AMAZING QB to get this far into the playoffs...Look at Rodgers and Wilson and others, how come they didn't make it?! Oh, it's a team sport and only one person can't make a difference? SHOCKER!!!

This is why I advocate trading Wilson. It might take a franchise QB to make it deep in the playoffs, or it might not. How many times have we made it deep in the playoffs with Wilson the last 5 years? I'll wait for that answer and the excuses why we haven't made it with him

And yes I've been drinking tonight, mostly celebrating the Bengals win and giving the middle finger to all the dynasty teams regarding that win with them being the underdogs and all, but their energy reminds me of the last time I saw a rookie quarterback going all the way to the superbowl and winning it. They're in the NFCCG now, which will increase the pressure to keep JimmyG. Which, if they do, makes it less likely they can keep other pieces.

It makes them a team more likely to be beat, by people who are us and who aren't, next year.
