If you "need" the money, don't be a STH?
It's pathetic selling out to other fan bases, period. If you can't go, find Seattle fans to sell it to.
I’ve got to align with this statement.
Seahawk fans absolutely created a home field advantage at one point in time, it appears that is no longer the case.
I’m all for capitalism but can’t support a version of it where people hang on to, or purchase Season tickets for the sole purpose of making money.
For those that simply can’t afford to buy and use all of the tickets in a season, at least make a substantial effort to ensure Seahawk fans are using your tickets. In the day and age of social media it’s not that hard to advertise in a way that gives you control.
I get it, the re-seller sites make it convenient but selling to the opposing fans actually hurts our team.
Wasn’t that long ago that I was proud of, and bragged about our fans at home games. Can’t really do that anymore and it’s certainly sad for me.
This has been a long standing debate and I understand fully that tickets are the property of those that own them, they have every right to do with them as they choose.
Personally I can’t respect those that sell to opponents fans. I believe they should make every effort to ensure that Hawk fans are sitting in their seats if they can’t attend.
I’m financially stable so I’d rather give tickets away than allow any opposing fan to sit in my seats.
Those that aren’t financially stable probably shouldn’t be buying season tickets in the first place.
YMMV
