The Rams might not be able to beat the 49ers this week but i'm sure there's another team they can beat later on.

...(Cough) twice (cough). 😈

With both Kupp AND Nakua out from significant injuries for 5+ weeks, as well as Aaron Donald gone, and Pete not the HC?

DOUBT.
You left out the 3 OL on IR, another OL coming back from injury and yet another OL coming back from suspension. Yeah, i'll agree there's a pretty serious doubt - but don't expect me to 'like' your post. ;)

the rams are so artificial it's hard for me to hate them much. they really don't have much of a fan base. How many different cities have they called home since 1976? Not as near as moribund as the tards but not great.

LA is not a football town. Never was, never will be. Even after they won the Super Bowl they still had more opponent fans in the stands then their own fans in most games.

Chargers follow the same fate.

I don't blame the teams, I blame the NFL for force-feeding that giant market down our throats even though the city cares way more for the Lakers than they do either NFL team.

Few may agree with me, but I think ties should be considered a loss for both teams, and the historical W/L records should be retroactively corrected to reflect it.
How about we just don't allow ties. Play till someone wins just like college.!!

Eh, those three names are the biggest threats that your team had, that's why I didn't even bother with the other injured players.

49ers Kittle and ward likely to miss this game. Bosa limited . This division might be ripe for the taking for the Hawks or Cards . Injuries starting to look like 2020. Hopefully not

Don't be so sure. We must stay healthy, and we have a big injury report with some starters that are ailing. Also it's early and a long year. Your whiners and the lambs are hurt but should be back in time to make a push late in the year. But seriously hope all your players and the lamb players get hurt for the year. 🤣

I don't think it's fair to say Los Angeles is "not a football town." It's just that the two NFL teams there are the third and fourth most-popular football teams in the city.

I've been to USC-UCLA games. It was back in the '90s, but a lot the people at those games were real football fans. It was fun to be among them.

I am of the opinion that in Los Angeles, there are always a lot of things and events going on., professional football has competition.

I hate to see injuries, even to opposing teams. I want the 49ers to lose with all their players.

As for the Rams, I live in Los Angeles, and it's going to take a while for the Rams and Chargers to build a following. Not many here grew up rooting for those teams. It's tough for people to give up the allegiances they developed for other teams. There is a bar near me that used to fly the 12 flag every Sunday. Still some Raiders fans here from their time in LA. But makes it easy for me to see the Seahawks when they come to SoFi.

I'm actually liking the Rams chances in this. Both teams are injury decimated, but in a pure QB carrying the team sense, I'd trust Stafford over Purdy.

Yes the Rams are down on two receivers, but with Deebo and Kittle out, at least the lambs have Kyren, and Atwell, also Parkinson at TE.

Probably a competitive game, it is in LA, but with that team it probably means it's basically a home game for the 49ers. I hate both teams because of the division rivalry, but I hate the 49ers more, and they are the bigger threat, so go Rams!

Hard to care that much, but a Rams win helps us arguably more than a 49ers win.

The pundits all call this for the 49ers, but I smell a real chance of an upset here...

Rams flat out have a decent chance here. Purdy is without Kittle and Debo it’s looking like and for the record Purdy has never won a game without Debo.

Get out the popcorn.
