I think they get healthier and make some noise, I also think they would love to be spoilers and dangerous ones at that for the rest of the division.

If they get healthy, they absolutely are a threat.

Their offense could hog the ball and put up 30-plus while hoping the defense doesn’t allow more than three scores. Thats the best case scenario. A threat? I guess. Theoretically.

The OL is quietly deteriorating. Age has caught up to Trent, Puni has played gimpy since getting hurt in preseason and Bartch is still out. There is no run game. McCaffrey functions as a slot receiver now. Besides mccaffrey, they have no one to run it anyway.

Meanwhile, Jennings, just back from injury after not getting the extension he wanted, was caught on camera yelling at Kyle. Aiyuk, who’s reportedly unhappy despite his extension, isn’t expected back until week 10. Purdy’s new bestie Pearsall is highly questionable going into week 7. And then again, so is Brock.

Yup, it's not just the injuries. The vibes and culture aren't quite right in that locker room.

And it's glorious.

Wait until they have to run Adrian Martinez out there once the starter of the week is taken out for concussion protocol, given that a) their ability to protect themselves is impaired and b) there’s not much of an offensive line there.

I think the pass protection is fine other than the bucs game this season. Run blocking, not so much. I am hoping adding Kittle back into the mix as a superior blocker helps that

You rank 30th in qb pressures what are you talking about? Bosa was literally your entire pass rush. Lynch doesn’t know how to draft he was new to the job and had his hand held by the Indian dude in your office. He traded up for Reuben Foster and drafted a kicker in the 3rd that sucked. These past 3 drafts have been horrible for them

Pass protection Frodo, not pass rush . The o line . Lay off the morning IPAs

And the last 3 draft classes beat the best of the Seahawks week one . Upton stout , renardo green, Mykel Williams, Ricky Pearsall, Dominick Puni, Dee Winters , Alfred Collin’s all huge reasons they are 4-2 despite all the injuries. Ricky Pearsall beat all your high end corners consistently the whole game

Honestly, the collapse of your interior OL precludes much of a traditional run game even with George back. And to be fair, u used CMC a lot in that magical 2023 as a de facto receiver like now.

The 9ers (Jed, Paarag) have a 2027 timer attached to not only key players but also Kyle and John. If they get nine wins with most of their starters missing time, Jed will be happy enough not to make a change for this year given the shitshow that ensued last time he tried a coaching change. You remember.

There is such a thing as the 9ers Cabo Clique and Shan should never, ever, have been part of it. You think grandpa jusczcyk is better than cam skattebo? Shanalynch has ptsd from Ty Davis-price and Ronnie bell and Jake Moody but the Niners lost the next McCaffrey right there.

I don’t think the Niners are serious about being contenders anymore. This is all about the face saving 7–9 game wins that make them better than last year.

Everyone in the world knows how lower mid the 69ers are. Now in 2 days you won’t hear a peep out of their fans til the draft lol

Yeah Skattebo was a miss. I wanted them to draft him. Remember the seahawks run a FB now too though

I'll never root for a player injury, but I can't deny I don't feel bad for the 49ers and their injury problems the past 2 years either....

The 49ers are going to be in it throughout the year with the way their defense can play. But that offense has to find a way to have their players come back to form better cohesion on offense to compete down the stretch.
