I love that we did this with a faltering offense and without some real big names. When we get all our assets on the field and working in harmony... hold on to something! This team is for real and every team knows it now!

Go Hawks!

Considering how off we were on offense for a majority of this game... to win by 26, is just.. pure.. amazing.

Niner fans may be chomping at the bit for Week 14, but I'm not sure why. We're going to be even better then.

Man... we played absolutely suck. Terrible on all accounts...

Your team is nothing more than a media darling, but hey, you asked for it. Your 'defense' is old and you're trending downward, goodbye.

Is that all you got from watching your team. You've got a lot to worry about.

I like both, but the 29-3 has a nice ring to it because they were kept out of the endzone! :)

Except on the safety..... heyo!

I thought Kap the unstoppable had 4 TDs again.

Oh I misread the stat, that was turnovers...

29-3 was the more solid win. No 14-point swing on a single play (Sherman's return of the FG block).
SF has a damn good defense. The rematch will be another heavyweight slugfest for sure.

But. but. but.....5 rings <echo>

Looking forward to the Hawks' win in Frisco and the end of the Whiner trolls on these boards.

I thought it was gutsy for 60niners to come here after this game, so :th2thumbs:
I won't go to a 9rs board and gloat, although, Lord knows that there are a few of them that deserve it.

Last season all you heard was how it would have been different if their DT Smith was playing, so this game was more meaningful for me.

Remember six days ago when the gold coast's crackhead mofo's were driving our mods crazy talkin bout winning in the Clink? Never listen to the trolls. For all you biatches in sf, we comin, and we're going to beat you at home, in a few weeks, it's going to hurt.

This team is on a whole new level. I've watched it all. I watched the expansion years where we were thrilled to get 9-7. A winning record! I've seen the first excellent teams, winning in Miami, winning 12 games (and losing to the freaking Broncos at home(!) to lose the division...), suffering through the Bubba Behring years, watching our dominant team in '05 get the NFL equivalent of the Montreal Screwjob.

None of those teams are as flat out scary as this one.

This team just took a team that places had rated #1 and turned them inside out. Twice.
This team just took a guy who threw for over 400 yards last week against a recent division winner and fairly recent Super Bowl champion and dropped him into a water torture chamber for four quarters.
This team just won the showdown game of the week against the reigning NFC champions, 29-3, and can rightfully say that they didn't play very well in a great many aspects of the game.

Re-read that last sentence again. This team just outscored the NFC Super Bowl representative by almost 10-1 - and screwed up a lot doing it. Anyone who isn't scared by that reality is in a fantasy dreamland where Richard Sherman isn't their own personal Freddy Krueger.

So there was a question at the start of this thread. Which beatdown of the 49ers would I take? I'll have to go with The Genie from Aladdin on this one: I'll have some of Column A and I'll try all of column B!

Yeah that is just one more excuse they can't use anymore. And I admit, having Smith back on their line scared me. Aldon was freed up, like I feared, but it didn't even matter in the end.
